Monday, April 4 - FINAL PHOTOSHOP TASK: Hall Pass

THIS IS YOUR FINAL TASK TO SHOW YOUR PHOTOSHOP SKILLS!!!  BIG MARKS!!


Media Arts Hall Pass Project 

Your task: Create a hall pass to be used by all PJ Arts classes. This hall pass needs to include the words:

Pauline Johnson C.V.S.

Art Class

Hall Pass

Mrs. Potter

and a school logo (see logos below).

The design and other images are entirely up to you. A good starting point is to include things like school colours, photos of the school, PJ related images or Art related images.

YOU MUST USE AND DOCUMENT 12 TOOLS THAT YOU LEARNED IN YOUR PHOTOSHOP PRACTICE! WHEN YOU UPLOAD YOUR THREE HALL PASSES TO YOUR BLOG, INCLUDE YOUR NOTES ON WHAT TOOLS YOU USED AND HOW YOU USED THEM.

eg.

Hall Pass #1

1. Blur tool: I blended together the logo and background.

2. Magnetic Lasso Tool: I took out the writing from the logo and used only the logo itself.

etc...

*Use your phone to take some pictures and upload them to your computer as a background image!*

The top three best will be used as hall passes in the art department for the rest of this semester!

Specifics:

Make the hall pass in Adobe Photoshop with these dimensions

Width: 3 inches 

Height: 5 inches 

Resolution: 300 DPI (pixels per inch) 

Background: Transparent

+ do not put any words in the top center as that is where a hole will go to hook the hall pass onto a lanyard. 
+you need to do 3 THREE different designs, make them all different and varied.
