Monday, May 9 - Importing Stop Animation Photos to Premier Pro

By the end of Wednesday's class (at the VERY LATEST), you should have all your photos taken for your stop-motion project. This will give you TWO DAYS to put everything together in Premier Pro. Any less than that and you will risk not having the project done on time.

WHEN you import your photos to your computer, you will want to:

1) Go through them and make sure none are out of focus. Take out the ones that are not good (but don't take out too many, or your work will be choppy)

Right-click one of your photos in your file.
>Select Properties.
 >Click on the Details tab.
 >Write down the WIDTH (horizontal) and HEIGHT (vertical) pixel size of your pictures.

2) Import your photos to Premier Pro.

Create a new project (just like you already know).

Save your work on your H:/ (same as before)

PRESS ENTER/OK.

1. Make sure that "Standard 48kHz" is selected and then 2. go into the "settings" tab.

\

PRESS ENTER/OK.

Change the Editing Mode to "Custom".

Change the HORIZONTAL (width) and VERTICAL (height) to the same pixel size as your photos. Make sure you do not mix the two up.

PRESS ENTER/OK.

Your photos should fit the screen on the upper right sequence preview panel. Change the Zoom Level to "Fit".

And import your photos now!  :)
